Top 5 Leicestershire Wedding Venues.

Leicester has some really amazing wedding venues, from Stately homes housing wonderful grounds, to barn conversions with their rustic charm. Beautiful countryside, stunning vistas and rolling hills, to inner city venues with grand ballrooms, Leicestershire has it all.

I’ve worked at too many venues to list, but here’s a breakdown of my top 5.

Number 5 – Bosworth Hall, Market Bosworth, Leicestershire.

Bosworth Hall Hotel Leicestershire

Bosworh Hall is a great place for a large wedding, offering ample space, rooms and grounds it’s an ideal venue for those larger parties.

I’ve shot a number of weddings here and the grounds are great. There are plenty of spots to get great shots all over the place with the moat, the bridge, the ruins, the old walled gardens and the wide open spaces, there’s always plenty to do here.

Advantages: ample space to go all out in a very memorable setting.

Number 4 – Stapleford Park Country House Hotel near Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.

Stapleford Park Country House Hotel Leicestershire Melton Mowbray

For my mind Stapleford Park Country House is the best kept stately home I’ve come across. It has it all, the stately long driveways, the beautiful orangery where you can get married. The rose gardens and the lawn games. Plenty of excellent accommodation with friendly and helpful staff.

Advantages, a stunning location and building, with all the facilities you could want and plenty of accommodation.

Number 3 – Beaumanor Hall near Loughborough, Leicestershire.

Beaumanor Hall Leicestershire Loughborough

Beaumanor Hall is an imposing brick heap situated in beautiful and well maintained grounds. Beaumanor has old world in spades right down the the old fashioned maids outfits the staff wear. The last couple of weddings i’ve done here the couples have opted for a vintage theme and it works wonderfully, fitting in very well with the whole building, giving you the impression you really have wandered back in time. And not forgetting the grand staircase which gives the bride the best entrance possible.

Advantages, Fantastic grounds, unique building.

Number 2 – Shearsby Bath, Leicestershire.

Shearsby Bath Leicestershire

I’ve worked at Shearsby Bath, Leicestershire many times and it’s always good fun. The staff are helpful always, and it’s a very versatile venue. There’s the orangery, the  ceremony room, the excellent marquee that’s up year round and then the grounds offering views across Leicestershire.

Advantages, a great staff and a year round marquee that’s very well heated.

Number 1 Mythe Barn, Atherstone, Leicestershire.

Mythe Barn Leicestershire

My personal favorite though has to Mythe Barn. Situated on the edge of Atherstone which itself is on the edge of Leicestershire. Mythe Barn boasts a fantastic barn conversion, completed to a high standard. This is a very new venue and it shows in its modern approach. The ceremony room has a fantastic glass and oak front wall where the vows are given, allowing it the grandeur of a church without a religious aspect to it. There are fields out front and a large internal courtyard out back which is beautiful place for guests to relax on balmy summer evenings. Oh and the staff are excellent too, accommodating and very attentive I really can’t praise this venue enough.

Advantages, a beautiful venue designed and built specifically for weddings, with excellent staff in a stunning location.
